The IL GOP are the first to show up for Trump's political stunts and donor parties, yet they never make it to town halls in their own districts. They don't think we deserve answers, help, or a voice in the decisions they make on our behalf.
While Democrats focus on passing budgets and delivering services, the IL GOP fuels division and dysfunction.
Hypocrisy as Policy
They rail against government — while cashing its checks.
The IL GOP is quick to rail against "government spending" while personally benefiting from taxpayer-funded programs and federal subsidies for their own families and businesses.
The IL GOP attacks programs that help working families while protecting tax cuts, big contracts, and special benefits for themselves and their donors.
While Democrats fought to protect healthcare and community funding, the IL GOP ran around screaming "America first!" — cutting the very programs that keep Illinois families afloat.
Never Delivering for Constituents
Their votes hurt you — and they left your district empty-handed.
The IL GOP's votes and loyalty to Trump raised health care costs, shuttered hospitals, defunded after-school programs, allowed masked men to kidnap people outside our churches, bankrupted soybean farmers, supported an illegal and unnecessary war, and redistributed wealth from working families to billionaires.
While Democratic members secured millions in federal funding for roads, housing, schools, and community projects, the IL GOP left their districts empty-handed — by choice.
Illinois communities lose real resources and opportunities because the IL GOP refuse to do the bare minimum of what's in their job description.
Loyalty to Trump Over Loyalty to Voters
Kissing Trump's ring — is more important than serving you.
The IL GOP are too busy prioritizing Trump's agenda and talking points to do anything to help Illinois families stay safe, save money, or create a better future.
From tariffs that hurt farmers and shutdowns that threaten workers to a $25 billion (and counting) war in Iran, Illinois's GOP constantly backs policies that raise costs — then blames someone else.
